Double-Terminated Crystal Necklace

Tiny natural crystals, just 1–2 mm in size, form this delicate necklace in soft shades of clear quartz, amethyst, prasiolite, citrine and smoky quartz.

Each crystal is double terminated, meaning that it has naturally grown to a point at both ends. Unlike faceted gemstones, the sparkle comes entirely from the crystal's own natural surfaces. There is no cutting or polishing to create the sparkle — only the small hole that allows each crystal to be threaded.

I carefully select and arrange the crystals to create the necklace, bringing together their subtle colours, natural forms and flashes of light.

The result is an exceptionally delicate necklace with a surprisingly vivid natural sparkle — a small collection of geological forms gathered together and worn close to the skin.

Part of the Deep Time Collection, the necklace celebrates the beauty of natural materials and the forms created by geological processes long before they became jewellery.

Available in 40 cm and 43 cm lengths, with a 14ct gold-filled clasp.
