Silver ammonite charm necklace with topaz stone, medium
This sterling silver necklace features a cast ammonite, its spiral form preserved in fine detail and centred with a sky-blue topaz.
The original fossil was found by Marianne along the Jurassic Coast at Lyme Regis, shaped over millions of years and carrying the trace of its marine origin. Its natural structure is retained in the casting, allowing the form to remain clear and tactile.
The addition of sky-blue topaz introduces a subtle point of light, echoing the presence of water and bringing a gentle contrast to the fossil surface.
Both object and adornment, the piece holds a connection between deep geological time and contemporary making.
