These Passage Collection earrings feature authentic ancient Roman coins, set within open-backed silver settings that allow both sides of the surface to remain visible.
Sourced from Cambridgeshire, each coin carries its own patina and human trace, held in a way that preserves its full presence. The open setting allows light to pass through, reinforcing the sense of the object as something encountered rather than enclosed.
Dark pink rubies and blue kyanite introduce colour and contrast, forming a measured dialogue with the coins. Each element is individually set in recycled sterling silver, allowing material and surface to remain fully visible.
