These earrings are inspired by desert landscapes and nomadic adornment, where light and material carry quiet meaning. The softly pillowed square form is crafted in oxidised sterling silver, with a circular cut-out at its centre.
The reverse of each silver pillow is filled with fused 24ct gold, allowing the gold to appear through the opening as a glowing disc — reminiscent of a desert sun or a distant fire seen at night. The contrast between the dark, patinated silver and the warm gold gives the earrings depth, intimacy, and a restrained sense of radiance.
