The artistic expression of the lotus flower is such an iconic symbol of Ancient Egypt, you will probably have seen it on wall paintings or as part of ancient jewellery. These beautiful and detailed lotus earrings are made as silver casts of an Ancient Egyptian lotus amulet that I obtained years ago. Wearing these earrings is such a unique way to connect to the breathtaking art of Ancient Egypt. The amulet is 3.600 years old and cut from Lapis Lazuli, therefore I have combined the sterling silver cast with a Lapis Lazuli stone, found in Afghanistan, to emphasise their connection and because it's just beautiful.
