These refined earrings are inspired by the restrained elegance of Byzantium mosaics, where colour, geometry and craftsmanship were carefully balanced rather than ornate for their own sake.
Each earring features a softly shimmering grey, facet-cut moonstone in a hexagonal form, paired with a smaller burgundy-red, facet-cut ruby above. The subtle contrast between the cool moonstone and the warm ruby creates a quiet yet confident statement.
The stones are freeform in character, and each is set in a hand-built recycled sterling silver bezel, carefully shaped to fit the individual stone. The result is a pair of earrings that feel composed, elegant and quietly distinctive.
